Luxury Fly-Fishing in Paradise
Located 1,000 miles off Africa’s east coast and 310 nautical miles from Mahé, the Alphonse Group is a remote trio of coral islands. Alphonse, Bijoutier, and St. François set in one of the most pristine marine environments on earth. Renowned for its unspoiled tropical climate, untouched shorelines, and rich biodiversity, it offers fly anglers exclusive access to over 10,000 acres of hard white sand flats teeming with Bonefish, Trevally species, Milkfish, Triggerfish and more.
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, the area’s consistent, low-pressure fishery ensures rewarding opportunities. Beyond fishing, Alphonse Island also caters to non-anglers, offering a range of leisure and eco-tourism experiences, from secluded beaches to poolside relaxation.
The Alphonse Group is a premier saltwater fly fishing destination in the Indian Ocean, known for its 10,000 acres of white sand flats and year-round fishing. Limited to just 12 anglers per day, the area remains pristine and well-conserved. It’s best known for its abundant Bonefish and diverse species including Triggerfish, Permit, and various Trevally species. Offshore, anglers can target pelagic gamefish like Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Dorado, and using fly or conventional gear. The Permit fishing is among the best in the Seychelles, and the Milkfish fishing is world-renowned.
Accommodations on Alphonse Island include private beach chalets and spacious one-bedroom villas, all with en-suite baths, outdoor deck showers, air conditioning, and direct beach access. The island features a main reception and dining area, a large freshwater pool, and a lagoon surrounded by white-sand beaches. Guests typically stay solo in chalets, while couples or families may prefer the larger villas, which offer a lounge and extra guest bathroom. Each guest receives a bicycle, the only transport on the island for getting to meals, the fishing center, or exploring the flats for DIY fishing in the evenings.
Alphonse Island offers a variety of rates based on your customized package. Shared skiff packages start at $15,280. This all-inclusive rate covers all beverages (excluding premium wines, spirits, and specialty beers), as well as laundry services.
